Chapter 10: Canard

My canard was built by Aerocad and came as part of the package deal when I purchased my Cozy project. There are a couple of very small ripples, (for a lack of better words), in the leading edge skin. I'm sure this can be corrected with little fuss.

In this photo you can see a small amount of damage to the foam on the end of the canard. This again should pose no problem with regards to repairing it.

With all the talk of airframe modifications on some of the canard websites, I got to thinkin'....Hey! I like the wider fuselage, and I know it's got the horse power. Now if I can just figure out how to mount the main spar and install a re-drive at the end of the truck bed without interferring with the tailgate goin' up and down. This is definitely a first folks! Introducing the world's first "Bubba Canard".
