Please allow me to introduce myself. My
name is John D. Wages, and for more than
10 years now, the Lord has been after me to
do something with my life to glorify Him. I
liken myself to Jonah of the Bible. God told
him to go to Ninevah and tell the people
they must repent of their evil ways. Jonah
had much fear about this mission because
he knew in his heart that the Ninevites
would not accept him or his massage well,
and might even kill him. So, thinking he
could out wit God, he tried to deviate from
his coarse on the open sea. Well, as luck
would have it, out of nowhere comes this
huge fish and swallows Jonah. He remained
I, like Jonah, have spent years of my life trying to do it my way...avoiding
God's gentle nudging. Let me tell you...it doesn't work out so well. There is
nowhere to run, and nowhere to hide from our Heavenly Father. When we
live outside the Will of God, we cannot receive the blessings that our Father
wants for us. Therfore, I gave up, I am now His.
My life has been blessed, and continues to be blessed by my Lord and
Savior, Jesus. Now, that doesn't mean that life is always going to be a bed
of roses, because it's not. My wonderful wife, Delia, was diagnosed with
breast cancer in the fall of 2000. It was a frightening time for both of us.
Frightening not only because of the uncertainty of her future, but the
uncertainty of our family's future. We had two sons at home. The
youngest being only 18 months old at the time of her diagnosis. Delia
went through five surgeries in just over 18 months, chemotherapy, and
radiation treatments. I do believe these were the darkest days I have
ever experienced. I anguished for her in those periods of time while she
was recovering from this surgery, or that surgery. I thank God for the
support of our friends and Church Family members during that period of
time.
In the years that have gone by, I have witnessed God's work
through Delia. He has taken her to a whole new level in life. If
you read our homepage on this website, you will see just how
devoted she is to her family, her breast cancer patients, and her
Heavenly Father. It's been said so many times before that God
works in mysterious ways. Out of the hardships and struggles
that she endured came a "True Gem" tested by fire. She
continues to be a brilliant light in our lives and an inspiration to
"Our Mission".

Our Faith Based Mission
The Mission
It is my dream to one day travel across this nation in our Cozy
Mark IV built by our hands as a "Labor of Love" to minister to
those who need spirtual support in their struggles with breast
cancer. Our Cozy Mark IV is simply the mode of transportation to
get from one place to the other. The real vehicle of our mission is
Jesus Christ who is the living word of God.

Question: Where will we go?
Answer: We will travel to speak with small groups anywhere in
the Continental United States and Canada.

Question: What topics will you speak on?
Answer: Our main topic will always be focused on breast cancer,
the effects it has on the lives of it's victims and their families, and
what to expect from treatments, ie: surgery, chemotherapy,
radiation and reconstruction.
Delia not only has first hand information from her own
experiences, but stays current on the latest treatments offered in
todays world of modern medicine.

Question: Will there be other topics?
Answer: Ofcoarse, we will also be more than happy to talk about
our Flagship, the Cozy Mark IV, it's construction, and perhaps
spawn some curiosity in some young future pilots and airplane
builders.

in the belly of this giant fish for three days before the fish finally spit Jonah out on
the beach at Ninevah. There he was...right where God wanted him. Well the story
ends on a positive note with Jonah doing as he was told, the Ninevites repenting
of their evil ways, and God holding back their impending destruction. In the end,
God showed Jonah that "He" is in control. You can't hide from God and do things
your way. God has a plan for us all. We may not understand it at the time, but if
you pray in earnest, God will reveal his plan for you. Anytime you feel unsure of
things, read Psalms 46:10. "Be still, and know that I am God."
