In chapter 10 I had to add 12 plies of BID to get the
canard perpendicular to the fuselage. This created a problem when
it came to installing the canard. The bushings called for in the
plans were ~1/8" short. I had to order a new spacer from Brock.
I had them make it 1/4" longer and I cut it to fit perfect. You
will notice it is cut at an angle. With the new canard incidence
template, my tabs were not perpendicular to F22. I installed the
bushings at the same angle as the lift tabs, then mixed up some flox and
smothered it on the front side of F22 and installed the canard.
This left a perfect "flox pad" for the lift tabs to rest on.
