Chapter 6 Fuselage Assembly

I assembled the fuselage differently from plan, adopting an idea from Wayne Hicks, the fuselage was assembled upside down atop the work bench. The instrument panel protrusion was compensated by the use of 2"x4"s. Next time (?!?!) I'd assemble the fuselage on the ground for easier access.

The other change I made was to omit the fuel valve on the seatback brace. It will be relocated to the center console, in front of the throttle quadrant. Another idea shamefully stolen from Wayne Hicks. :-)

does it fit? looks OK so far clamping them together look at this mess but hey, it works! taping... more taping... you get the idea the *&^%# landing gear box making sure it's flushed and level another view of heatduct yup, more taping keel & seat brace done ready for fuselage bottom final sanding the contours bottom ready for glass glassing the bottom bottom weighted next chapter!
