Chapter 13 - Step 1

This step involves tweaking the nose strut to fit all the hardware and adding a reinforceing layer of BID.

Sanded Strut June 24, 2002. Here is the strut after sanding it down so there is enough room for the 2 layers of BID. The area where NG-6 will go was actually too small to begin with so I will be adding one extra layer of glass on each side where NG-6 goes. The area for NG-3 and NG-15 actually needed to be sanded before even taking into account the two BID layers.
