Chapter 16 - Step 3

This step has you assemble all the pitch and roll parts.

Front left control assembly February 16, 2004. Here is the front left control assembly around bearing block CS-109. The one key difference here from the original plans is the use of the recommended FMN10 bearing instead of the phenolic. There are a few changes because of this:

  1. FMN10 needs AN4 bolts, not AN3 bolts
  2. The holds in CS-109 need to be in a slightly different location than those shown on page 16-2.
  3. FMN10 is thicker than the phenolic so CS-116 needs to be that much shorter
