I was wondering why this was done...it was a large reason I chose this app over others (although this app is truly superior to the others). It was really convenient because I use my Colour Lovers account a lot while I'm fooling around on my computer, and access to my phone was amazing. Is this coming back any time soon?

Access to COLOURlovers was removed at the request of that site's owner. Access will not be put back unless they change their mind. You do not need to upgrade Palettes. If you keep your copy of Palettes 2.0 you will still have access.

That sucks, but I understand. I realized access was gone only after my app started shutting down immediately upon opening and I had to remove it and redownload it through iTunes. I guess that was when I got the newest version. Is there any way to un-upgrade? Degrade? lol (I lost most of my palettes and colors because of that glitch/redownload, so if there's any hope of getting those back I would love to know that as well.) Thank you!

Apple does not provide anyway for customers to get access to older versions of an application.

As for your the issues you were having and your lost data there is nothing that can be done at this point. If you had contacted me while you were having the issue then your data could have been retrieved. But once you delete an app its data gets deleted with it. And of course downloading a new copy of the app results in having just the new data.

Palettes does have a separate backup feature. If you used that to backup your data then it would be trivial to restore that data into your new copy of the app.

One last possibility: If you had done a full iTunes sync/backup of your device before deleting the old copy of Palettes and you have NOT done a sync since then, your Palettes data would still be stored on your computer (along with all the data from all the other apps).
