Hey,

First of all, thanks for such an awesome program! I'm using it almost everyday at my job :D

Not sure if this can be considered a bug, but I don't think the complimentary color values are correct.
Is there a standard way of calculating complimentary colors or do people have their own way of calculation?

Because different apps say different values of complimentary colors/adjacent/tertiary.. etc.

Again, thank you very much!

The 5 supported colors schemes - monochromatic, analogous, tertiary, complimentary, and split-complimentary are simple color schemes where the color is based on the standard Hue computer model. Red is 0 degrees, green is 120, and blue is 240.

The color scheme is generated using the color in the first row of the first column. Only the first column matches the chosen color. All the other columns are variations of the first by changing the saturation, luminance, or blackness.

My calculations are based on a fairly standard formula but I'm sure some apps do it differently. For I use the following:

Monochromatic - obviously just chosen color.
Analogous - row 2 is chosen color plus 30 degrees, row 3 is chosen minus 30 degrees.
Tertiary - row 2 is chosen color plus 120 degrees, row 3 is chosen minus 120 degrees.
Complimentary - row 2 is chosen color plus 180 degrees.
Split complimentary - row 2 is chosen color plus 150 degrees, row 3 is chosen minus 150 degrees.

Hope that helps.

No problem. When I saw the new post I thought - darn, someone found a new bug. Glad it was just a follow-up to an old question. Enjoy.
