Dear all,
Since the update to the 1.1 version, that's impossible for me to create a palette based on a picture from the library.
Each time, the application crash.
I shutdown and restarted my Ipod but the problem persist.
Maybe other user have the same problem like me and solution is welcome ! ;)
Hope this boring problem could be corrected in the next version.
Best Regards

This is the first report of this problem with 1.1. I know of other users, including myself, that have not had this problem. It could be something specific about the image you are trying to import.

What is the origin of this image? Is it a picture taken with the iPhone camera? Is it an image saved from a website? Saved from an email? Created by holding the Home button and pressing the Lock button? Synchronized from your computer? Some other way?

Do you have this problem with all images on your device or just one or two specific images?

What version of the iPhone OS is running on your device? 2.0 or 2.1?

Is this on an iPhone or iPod Touch?

If this is a problem with just one or two specific images, can you please email the image to me at 'rmaddy AT gmail DOT C O M'

Thanks. The more info I can get from you the better chance I have of fixing it.

Rick

Hello Rick,
thanks for your reply.
The problem occurs with many origins (picture from website, synchronized,...).
Some pictures with same origins caused a crash and others not....
My device is an IPod Touch with the 2.1 firmware.
I will send you some images which pose problem.

The problem has been found and resolved. The fix will be part of version 1.2 to be released in about a week.

The code was not properly handling certain image types. It seems that external JPG images cause this issue. Images taken with the iPhone camera and many other images work just fine.
