Rick,
I bought this app over CliqCliq for its very detailed and thorough features, and Immediately became slightly worried when it started crashing.
When I take a new picture, it creates the color palettes just fine. However, when I start deleting colors from that color pallet, it crashes.
When I try to reopen the app, it asks me to save the palette again (which creates a duplicate). I can then delete the duplicate (or hit cancel and don't save)
and then try to edit colors again, and it crashes.

Editing the colors sampled from an image is very important as not all sampled colors are needed. I am a brand identity designer, and this tool is very important to me for capturing the right colors and quickly being able to fine tune what is generated by this app. Without it, it would still be fine, but the really great feature on this app is to rearrange, mix and match, fine tune, and retain those changes by saving.

Please help me out.
Thanks

I also have the newest version of iPhone as of March 1, 2009

Sorry you are having an issue. Let's see what we can do.

First off I am unable to reproduce any crash as you describe. So let's verify some basic information.

What version of the iPhone OS do you have? 2.0, 2.1, 2.2, or 2.2.1?
What version of Palettes do you have? The latest is 1.5.

Have you rebooted your iPhone recently? I doubt this will help in this case but it can't hurt.

Try deleting Palettes (backup your data first) from your iPhone then re-download it from the App Store directly on your iPhone. You won't be charged again as long as you use the same iTunes account.

After you install the new copy of Palettes, tap on the Import Image toolbar icon, take a picture, and enter a name. Then select the new image and try to delete a color.

Does it still crash? If so please tell me the EXACT steps you took to cause the crash. Which color did you select (row and column)? Did you then tap the trash can icon and confirm the delete?

Like I said, so far I can't get Palettes to crash taking a picture and deleting colors from the new palette.

Let me know how it goes.

Rick
