Recently I created a category group then added several items to the group. I then attempted to share the item but when the email was generated it did not contain the details for the item. Instead the email contained the category name but none of the attributes even though all attributes had been selected. As a work around I went back to the group selected edit chose the item then share and the email contained all of the attributes.
Still enjoying the great app can't wait to see the updates in September.

Let me make sure I'm following the steps you took that resulted in the incorrect email.

- From the main Categories screen you expanded a category and selected a group.
- While viewing the list of items for just one group you selected the Share Items menu.
- On the Export Settings screen the Category line showed the selected group.
- On the Exported Attributes line it said "All".
- You selected Email for the Destination

Is all of this correct so far?

What did you select under Email Options?

I just did a quick test using MyStuff2 1.4.7 and I get the expected output in the email. So we need to figure what is different.

While viewing the list of items I selected one item. Then from the one item screen (right side screen/panel)I selected the share item menu. The "Action" I chose was to "share item" the export settings are as follows. Sort: None, Include Media: On, Include Actions : All Instances, Exported Attributes: All. I do get the expected result when I choose the "Share Item" option from the items screen. Hope this clarifies the issue I have had.

I repeated my test using the steps you stated. I still see the correct data in the email.

You didn't mention what you chose under Email Options on the Export Settings screen.

What is in the email that is generated for you? What exactly is missing? Is it missing category attribute? Custom item attributes? Anything else?

The email options are:
Include CSV File: Off
Include PDF Report: Off
Item Report Format: List

The only thing that is in the email that is generated is:

This email has been sent by the iOS application MyStuff2.

Report Items

Rolling Stock (the name of the category)
Nothing else. No category attributes.

If I choose the same options then it works fine for me. Does this problem only happen with this one item or do you have the problem with any item you have in MyStuff2?

If you are willing you can send me your data and I can see if I can reproduce the problem using your data. If that's OK then run MyStuff2, go Tools, then Support. Select "Submit Data to Support". This won't include any images, just the raw data.
