Could you implement a "lookup list" to another log.

I have to log contact/activity against my customers and have so far had to add a new attribute (contact 1/notes 1/contact 2 / notes 2, etc) for each customer.

If there was a way to link the Account name in Customer Details to Log that record Account name / Date and activity it would make the CRM log a bit simple to look at.

I hope this makes sense I have tried the full relational database apps but none are as good as this in its core simplicity and functionality.

So basically you would like a way to have one log entry link to another log entry.

What functionality would you like associated with this ability? About the only thing I can think of off the top of my head is simply to be able to view the linked log. Is there anything else you would want to be able to do?

Essentially the ability to view the linked log would be great as it means one log could be kept relatively simple that you refer to more often whilst say phone calls/meetings/email contact with customers would be stored in a seperate log.

the current summary options would produce a report as it does now. If each new entry is given a unique record id then you could match these up against each other

If say a new entry "Customer A" is given a unique log id of LOG0001 then each entry in the Activity Log would be created with a matching id so they could be cross referenced.

maybe this picture demonstrates it but essentially I think what you propose would cover it!.

Oh and by the way the app is great, takes pride of place on my homescreen!
