 Post subject: Where is the Plus sign?

I have just purchased the software and have attempted to input items, no luck. It seems the plus sign mentioned in the help file is no where on my ipad. Anyone know where to look?

After selecting a category or location you will see a pane with the corresponding list of items. At the bottom will be the plus icon for adding a new item.
