Airspace Data for the USA

The following files can be used with your vario to show airspaces. This data is generated from the official United States airspace data available at https://www.faa.gov/air_traffic/flight_info/aeronav/Aero_Data/NASR_Subscription/.

This data contains class B, class C, class D, class E surface, prohibited, restricted, and national security areas for the 50 states of the USA.

OpenAir

This zip file contains the file USairspace.txt. This is a format known as OpenAir.

Flytec

This file has been optimized for use on Flytec varios such as the 6030. Download the zip file. Extract the CTR.faf file from the zip file. Copy the CTR.faf file to the CTR folder on the SD card used in your vario. Depending on your vario and the version of the firmware you have, you may need to tell the vario to use this airspace file from the SD card.
